故事設定在虛構的近未來日本。日本政府推出”75歲方案“，為75歲以上的老人提供提前走到人生終點的選擇。一位無力負擔社會生活壓力的高齡女士、一個務實的“75方案”推銷員和一名菲律賓勞工面臨著生死抉擇。
